1、Program Target

To meet the challenge of globalization, this degree program aims to cultivate qualified mechanical engineering graduates who shall have an international vision, be developed with a good virtue and wisdom, equipped with the basic theory and related knowledge of the mechanical design, manufacturing and automation, have a strong spirit of innovation and practical ability, so that they are capable of the design, manufacturing, research and development, enterprise management work in mechanical engineering field.

2、Graduation Requirement

For this program, the students should mainly study the machine design, machine manufacturing, microelectronics technology, basic knowledge of information technology; as well as to learn electro-mechanical products and systems design, manufacturing and testing methods and related knowledge. The graduates should acquire the following knowledge and abilities:
1. Master the basic theory and knowledge of the mechanics, engineering graphics, etc.
2. Master the basic theory and knowledge of the design, materials, manufacturing, etc.
3. Master the basic theory and knowledge of the electrical and electronic technology, control theory, etc.
4. Possess the ability of computer usage and programming;
5. Possess the strong self-learning ability, practice ability, innovation consciousness, cooperation spirit and high comprehensive quality.

3、Core courses

Core courses: Theory of machinery, Machine design, Fundamentals of manufacturing technology,Theory of machinery, Theoretical Mechanics, Mechanics of materials, Machine design, Fundamentals of manufacturing technology, Modern engineering materials, Electrical and electronic technology, Microcomputer principles and manufacturing automation, etc.

4、Program duration and credit requirement

1）Program duration：4 years (The normal learning duration is 4 years; the deadline of learning is 6 years.)

2）Minimun credit：142 credits，including 133.5 compulsory credits and 8.5 elective credit。
